How To get rid of rust with out welding.

Rust is horrible and no one likes it and once it starts it grows until your car is gone. But if you stop the rust from spreading by removing it, then your car will be worth more and look cleaner.

First step is to clean the area where the rust is using first spraying adhesive remover spray and rubbing alcohol then wiping that down
Then take your sand paper, start pretty rough then go down to a finer grit, on the rusted areas
then take a hammer and hit when your rust was to dent the it in so you have room for the bondo glass.
then sand under the wheel wheel to get rid of any rust
then when your done sanding the rust in the wheel well put a coat of rust reformer then a coat of rubberized coat
Then cut the patch to size and put it behind the body panel,
should look similar to this depending on the vehicle and rust.

time for the body fillers

  • then run a line of hardener across the filler then mix them together using a swooping motion.

then firmly apply the mixture to your area. adding layers until it fills up to the surrounding area

Then 15-20 mins later it should be dry and ready to sand.

then do the same as the last steps make a mixture then apply thin coats until above the surrounding area

and sand it down to make it real smooth

then you want to get a primer, the paint that matches your car and a clear coat spray

  • then to finish of if needed take a fine sand paper to get ride of anything unwanted like primer and such then wax and buffer your car.
